Sharing is caring!

Hey friends, I would like to share my recent experience with you.

Last April, under the inspiration of my friends Kristi and Burak, I decided to live my first Erasmus youth exchange project in Costinesti, Romania.

We spent the first night in the capital, Bucharest, and then we moved to Costinesti, a town on the Black Sea coast close to Constanta, in a gorgeous hotel as accommodation.

The project was about job challenges and we were people from Italy, Poland, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria. I'm telling my experience not just as a participant but also as a group leader for Italy.

Our days were happily busy with workshops, creative activities, funny moments, and games to get to know each other (first of all our names) and during the night each team prepared its own cultural night to entertain and show some aspects of the country.

During those days I rediscovered my creative and performative skills and that they are not just part of my human treasure but that I can look for a job which is oriented to them. We wrote our CVs and motivation letters, we discussed about the situation of the labour market in our countries and also edit a short movie on the theme of the project awarded on a special Oscar night with gala and nomination.
Together with the facilitators, the group leaders had to follow the administrative part of the project and share any opinions or requests from the other members in order to make our stay smoother and guarantee a good atmosphere within the activities.

I enjoyed this project a lot and met amazing people. We encouraged and motivated each other to go straight to our path and reach our goals.

I highly recommend: join these projects because they are unique and big opportunities for young people in many aspects and the European Union is investing a lot of resources in them.
Thanks for reading. Sharing is caring.

I’d like to suggest you to participate

Hello everybody!
I’d like to share with you my experience during 9 days in the youth exchange from Erasmus+ project that took place in Costinesti, Romania.

In this project called “Jobs Challenge” participated people from Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Poland. The aim of this was to discuss our ideas about motivation, passions and many others things that comes with the dream job from each of us.

Also we had time to do cultural nights, where we learnt more of other countries like their dances, foods, traditions and much more.
Then we visited the city Constanta for a task and to have fun there.

I want to thank to Initiative Sociale and Scambieuropei for this incredible opportunity and to all the amazing people I’ve met!

To finalize I’d like to suggest you to participate on an Erasmus+ project because you won’t regret it!.

I’d like to share some thoughts about my Erasmus+ project with you!

Hi everybody,

I’d like to share some thoughts about my Erasmus+ project with you!

First of all, I want to thank Initiative Sociale and Scambieuropei for this amazing and changing experience, I think it’s a great opportunity and I will always be thankful for being able to travel around Europe, learning A LOT of new things, improving my English and meanwhile making new friends from all around the world.

The "Jobs Challenge” youth exchange took place in the city of Costinesti, Romania. We were people from 5 different countries: Italy, Poland, Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria. The aim of the project was to teach how to overcome our limits, to develop our skills and to have a different attitude towards the obstacles encountered during the process of becoming active on the labor market (we learnt know how to prepare a CV and a cover letter, how to apply for a job or how to attend an interview, etc.). We also had a lot of spare time to get to know each other, to visit Costanza and Costinesti, to go to the beach and to have a lot of parties! We also had Cultural Evenings every night where we had the chance to learn something new about each country: their food, their traditions, their dances, their music and so on.

I’m so grateful for all the wonderful people that I met and for the memories that I will always carry in my heart, that’s why I strongly recommend to take part in Erasmus + projects, you will not regret it!

I had a great time there...

I participated in an Erasmus+ project that took place in Costinesti, Romania between 1st and 11th April. It was a wonderful experience for me because I met many new people from Italy, Romania, Turkey, and Poland. I am happy that I had the opportunity to get in touch with new foreign cultures. This project name was “Job Challenge”, which aims to teach the participants how to apply for a job, how to write a cover letter and CV and how to behave at a job interview.

There were some practical tasks that were especially useful and at the beginning we had several games called “ice breakers” in order to get to know ourselves and to become closer to each other. In the evenings we had cultural nights and every country had its night to present some significant things from its culture – traditional food, national music, dances, and traditions.
I had a great time there and I am very glad that I practiced my English language skills and also, I developed my soft skills.

I highly recommend you participate in such Erasmus+ projects because they can be very useful and instructive.

Benefits...

In my post I would like to introduce you to what the youth exchange from the Erasmus+ programme is.

I want to tell you about my experience on the trip to Costinesti on the jobs challenge programme.
During this trip I had the opportunity to meet people from different countries. I made many friends and got to know the culture of other countries.

Besides the obvious benefits such as meeting people, parties, visiting new places, I learned many useful things related to getting my dream job in the future.

The whole programme was funded by the European Union. I recommend everyone to go on such a programme, especially Initiative Sociale, it gives the opportunity to meet new countries and people completely for free

Thanks to...

Hey,

I am writing to you because I would like to tell you about a project I was able to participate in April 1 to 11 in costinesti, Romania.
The project consisted in showing young people how to overcome their own limitations, develop their skills, acquire a different approach to the obstacles they encounter in the process of activation on the labor market.

Thanks to this project I learned how to prepare a CV and cover letter, how to apply for a job or how to participate in an interview. The classes were held daily and were very useful.

Thanks to this trip I met many wonderful people from equal countries. We spent a lot of time together. It is also important that the project was entirely paid for by the European Union. We lived in a beautiful hotel and we could taste Romanian dishes.
The whole project was organized by "Initiative Sociale". I'm sending you the link to their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/InitiativeSocialeAssociation

I hope that next time we will go together on such a project.

Best Regards,
Kamil Oleksiak [PL]
